The headlining home kit reimagines the iconic Stars and Stripes through a bold, modern lens, honoring U.S. Soccer’s legacy while setting a new standard for the 2026 tournament. The design’s signature feature is its fluid, undulating red and white wavy stripes, crafted to mirror the dynamic movement of the American flag in motion — a deliberate break from rigid traditional stripes that brings energy to every stride on the pitch.

Rooted in nostalgia, the kit pays homage to two of the most beloved jerseys in U.S. Soccer history: the legendary 1994 World Cup home kit from the nation’s first World Cup hosting duty, and the iconic 2012 home jersey that became a cultural staple. The design uses a vintage sail off-white base, dual-tone deep maroon and bright red stripes for layered visual depth, and classic navy accents on the ribbed collar, cuffs, Nike swoosh, and U.S. Soccer crest, balancing timeless heritage with contemporary style.

In a historic first for the program, USMNT first-team stars including Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Folarin Balogun were deeply involved in every step of the design process. From initial concept reviews to fabric testing and fit refinements, player feedback directly shaped the final kit — addressing feedback from the 2022 Qatar World Cup to prioritize both on-pitch performance and team identity.

Engineered for the world’s biggest stage, the kit features Nike’s latest Aero-FIT cooling technology, with a high-performance knit fabric that delivers 2x enhanced breathability and sweat-wicking capabilities versus previous generations. The kit also includes exclusive details: a "Pride Within" mantra printed inside the collar, and a custom Stars and Stripes typeface for player names and numbers that will become the permanent signature font across all U.S. Soccer national team programs.
